He is survived by: his parents, Susan Shiver Barrow (Jody) and David Michael "Mike" Akers (Lea); his wife Daylee Joers Akers; his son Aiden Akers; and his siblings, Ashley Akers Trudon (Scott), Blythe Barrow, David Michael Akers Jr. and Joseph Barrow.
