“To Dolly's family: TY for all you did to help her as she aged. Dolly was my friend. She taught all of us many life lessons. Most notable: she was a courageous military wife and a mother. Her home was always open for friends and neighbors. She created a beautiful home and was an expert at quilting, sewing and handwork. She often inspired all of us in the Flying Needles.”

She encouraged me to reach outside of my comfort zone and try new things -applique and curves. I will always treasure the pieces that she made for me. I truly enjoyed listening to stories about Ray and their life together. I am happy to know they are re-united now. I am sure Smoky is there too and Dolly is smiling again.”
