He was also cherished by Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

“Ern could sing loud,was always friendly,offered to take me on a boat ride,,came to visit levina brown told me he used to ride in a wagon..He loved his monkey tree,,kept a stuffed monkey in it,,,I went by to see if he was home..the tree was gone,just wood chips,,,I knew he would never cut it down,,I lost ern and the tree,,no one can replace ern,,”
