Steven D Hughes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven D Hughes (Shelton, Washington), who passed away on January 16, 2023. Steve was 74 years old when he passed after a year long battle with cancer. Steve is survived by his wife Linda, his two daughters Stephanie and Leanne and his son by marriage Robert. Steve is also survived by his five grandchildren; Bryanne, Dante, Kayla, Joel, and Cody. Steve is also survived by his brother Chuck and his sister Sharon.
Steve owned Shelton Pacific Wood and loved providing specialty wood for custom knife makers. He especially loved Koa wood from Hawaii and was known for providing high quality wood.
Steve retired from the Washington State Department of Transportation in 2013 after 20 years of service.
