She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas C. Garland and Jean Hill Garland. She is survived by: her daughter Leigh Ann Shaw Cannady; and her sisters, Cheryl Chasin (Joseph), Janet Akerson (Randy) and Linda Dodson.
