He was predeceased by : his mother Beverly Askew (Johnson); his wife Kathy Askew; his father-in-law Robert C. Watson; and his brother-in-law Robert W. Watson. He is survived by : his son Sam; his father Bud Askew (Ann); his siblings, Sandy Ekse (Bill), Bob Askew (Kathy), Budd Askew (Irene) and Ron Askew (Vicki); his mother-in-law Betty Watson; his sisters-in-law, Karen Benoit and Laurie Mitchell (Glenn); and his nieces and nephews, Ericka (Stephen), Thielke, Billy Ekse, Natalie (Justin), Aase, Nick (Kayla), Stevie Askew, Ashley Mitchell (Amanda), Amy Mitchell, Brandon Watson (Mikala), Kelsey Lenting (Jake) and Erica Mitchell.
