He is survived by : his stepchildren, Laura Wright (Alex), Linda Olson (Maurice), John Andrew Ponis (Mary Ann), Anthony Bruce Ponis, Laveta Arnold (Jim) and Bryce Nathaniel Ponis (Glennett); his sister Leona Hansen; and his half-brother Philip Hill.
