John is survived by his wife, Debra Petersen, sister Christine Fletcher, brother David Petersen he also has many nieces and nephews, and god children. The family takes comfort in the fact that John is no longer suffering and has joined other family members that preceded him in death, his mother, his father and two beloved nephews Brent and Braden Murphy.
