“My heartfelt condolences to the family. I am an old friend of April's and just became aware of her passing. We were best friends for years back in late 70's and through 80's. We parted ways, but I have always carried her in my heart and memories. She was my first matron of honor, and then introduced me to the man I am married to today, 38 years later. April was exceedingly loving, creative, and a beauty. She was art. She is a big and lovely part of who I am today and I will miss the thought of her being on this earth. RIP April.”
