Arlene R. Hale Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arlene R. Hale in Spokane, Washington, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Burton Belknap and Dora Belknap (Herman). She is survived by: her former husband Donald A. Gasaway, Sr.; her husband James C. Toole; her close friend John T. Hale, Jr.; her sister Donna McGinnis (John); her children, Lurena Cathey (Roger), Burt Gasaway (Christine) and Donald Gasaway, Jr.; her grandchildren, Erica Lucas (Brett), Alan Cathey (Veronica), Blair and Brooke Gasaway; and her great grandchildren, Elena, Bode Lucas, Avan, Arlo and Alivia Cathey. She is also survived by extended family and many dear friends.
