It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice Ann Schreiber of Spokane, Washington, who passed away on January 29, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll Nutting Chaffee and Joyce Agnes Chaffee (Stubbs); her brother Richard Chaffee; and her son Thaddeus "Thad" Schreiber. She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dick" Schreiber; her children, Marci, Brenda (Doerschel), Stephanie, Erica and Jake; her grandchildren, Derek Doerschel, Alex Doerschel, Devon Schreiber and Zach Schreiber; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Issac, Aliyah, Olivia, Uriah, Omar and Eleanor Doerschel; and her siblings, Sandy Scott and Joe Chaffee. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause Bea faithfully supported throughout her life.
