With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carol Jean Barker (Spokane, Washington), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Carol left this world on October 27, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Carol shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Carol farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Higginbotham and Orval Higginbotham; her husband Alexander Vasey Barker; and her brother Donald. She is survived by: her sister Margie; her children, Bruce, Brenda, Cindy and Chris; Carol. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may also be made to the Alzheimer's Society in Carol's name.
