Carol Ann Williamson Obituary

Carol Ann Williamson, 76, of Spokane, Washington, passed away on the 23rd of September at home. She was born in Vancouver, BC, on May 15th, 1948, to Dorothy May Bate and Daniel Frederick Williamson.

Carol graduated from Wilson High School in Portland, Oregon, in 1966.

Carol obtained her bachelor’s degree in community service and public affairs at the University of Oregon in 1970. She also studied accounting at Portland State University in 1983 and Alcohol and Drug Studies at Bellevue Community College in 1988. Carol took pride in her work as a drug and alcohol counselor.

Carol married Daniel Ray White in 1973. While Daniel and Carol later divorced, the two had a daughter, Kelly Padgham, in 1977.

Carol was passionate about reading and watching her favorite show, Law and Order. Carol also loved keeping up with pop culture and listening to new pop music with her granddaughter, Cassandra “Cassie" Padgham.

Carol loved her son-in-law, John Padgham, like her own, and her granddaughter. She made an immense difference in John and Cassie’s lives after the passing of her daughter, Kelly, in 2015.

Carol is preceded in death by her father, Daniel Frederick Williamson, her mother, Dorothy May Bate, and her daughter, Kelly Padgham.

Carol is survived by her son-in-law, John Padgham, her granddaughter, Cassandra Padgham, and her four sisters— Danna Wood, Janis Grout, Lesli McHugh, and Sherri Williamson.
