Cynthia Renee McKernan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cynthia Renee McKernan in Spokane, Washington, born in Wichita, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Cynthia departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Cynthia. Though Cynthia may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Hayes and Joanne Hayes. She is survived by: her husband Gary McKernan of Spokane, WA; her children, Jeff McKernan, Shelley Reed (Will) and Jodi Widner (Gary); and her brothers, David Hayes, Kevin Hayes and Steve Hayes. She is also survived by eight Grandchildren and four Great Grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Spokane Eagles Lodge 6410.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Salvation Army.
