He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen Danielson and T. V. Danielson; his former spouse Jean Kerr; his significant other Mary Porter; his daughters, Elizabeth Smith of Seneca, MO and Amy Dessin of Brier, WA; his sons-in-law, Donald and Jim; his partner's daughter Laura Porter of Spokane, WA; his granddaughters, Jennifer Splitt, McKenzie Radcliff, Kaitlin Brockman and Dahlia Kothare; his son Aaron "Jay" Danielson; and his sisters, Elaine Van Dyke and Norma Jean Nelson. He was also cherished by three great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
A regulation-sized sand volleyball court provided hours of socializing and fun for 24 years, until COVID stopped it.
Dave stopped playing volleyball when Parkinson's made it too difficult for him to hit hard.
