We are sad to announce that, on January 30, 2026, at the age of 78, David Elliott Taggart of Spokane, Washington passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughters, Sherine Walker (Mike) and Jennifer Taggart (Justin); his grandchildren, Eric, Shaylene, Dylan and Loren; and his siblings, Barb Lockard (Pat), Kathy McKee, Mike Taggart (Judith) and Kenzie Taggart (Connie). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the National Council on Severe Autism.
