He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Girod and Camilla Boles; and his wife Judith Jean Girod. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Girod Scott (Bob) and Amy Girod Zuniga (Jesse); his grandchildren, Rachel, Matthew, Samuel and Sarah; and his great grandchildren, Milo and Elizabeth. He is also survived by his sister and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
