“Sad to hear about the passing of Gilbert. He was very influential in my life. As an 18 year old young man Gilbert took me on as his "hired man" to help him with this farm in the early 80's. I learned so many things from him - and I still use those skills today. If we measured something and it wasn't long enough... he'd say... it's only short on one end! LOL! I still use that dad joke with my kids. I have often thought about him over the years. He was an amazing man.He will be missed. Joel Lester”
