He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Carlton and Martha Carlton; his stepmother Mary Carlton; and his sister Cathy Dahlke. He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his children, Tony Carlton (Melissa), Christine Grace, Greg Carlton, Steve Carlton (Holli), Cara Carlton, Matt Carlton, Marty Carlton (Stacey), Jeff Carlton and Sarah Bisterfeldt (Joel); and his siblings, Ruth Pleasants, Dennis Carlton (Delores), Bernard Carlton and Jim Carlton (Kathy). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (2120 E 1st Ave, Spokane, WA 99202).
