Howard James Ellis Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard James Ellis of Spokane, Washington, who passed away on May 9, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Howard departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Howard may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Howard leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Thomas Ellis and Dorothy Lillian Andrews Ellis; and his brother Brian Thomas Ellis. He is survived by: his significant other Sarah Sponseller of Spokane; and his sisters, Audrey Kramer of Branford and Donna Coppola of East Haven. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and friends.
