She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Paxton and Goldie Paxton (Cunningham); her husband Rex Boxell; her daughter Marcia Kay; her son-in-law Allen McGowen; and her friend Kurt Kauffman.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila McGowen (Kokomo) and Rex Allan Boxell (Silver Lake); her grandson Chuck Smalling (Nikki); her great grandchildren, Collin, Madisyn and Isabella; her granddaughter Ashley Crow (Charlie); and her great grandchildren, Eleanor and Teddy.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to One Church (formerly First Church of the Nazarene), 2734 S. Washington, Kokomo, IN 46902, in memory of Juanita Boxell.
