He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Lyse Yates (Kay); his son Russell Yates; his daughter-in-law Linda Yates; his daughter Diane Yates Axworthy; his son-in-law Scott Axworthy; and his grandsons, Alex, Connor Axworthy, Jeff and Jon Parr. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
