He is survived by: his wife Liz Stebbins; his children, Athena Wolfe (Christopher Wolfe), Irene Stebbins, Trudy Jean Stebbins (Ronni Taylor) and Stephen Stebbins (Liv Smurkowski); and his grandchildren, Noah Wolfe, Adam Wolfe, Ethan Weiske and Louise Ann Stebbins.
His contributions to the history of the Tsnungwe people became an important part of tribal efforts toward federal recognition.
