We bid farewell to Mary Alyce Konesky of Spokane, Washington, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 16, 2025 at the age of 87. Mary Alyce touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Petersmith and Marie Petersmith (Howe); and her husband Richard Konesky. She is survived by: her children, Lynne Patzelt (Tom) of Lakeway, TX, Beth Konesky of Highlands Ranch, CO, Anne Johnson (Craig) of Monument, CO and Mike Konesky (Jacki) of Huntington Beach, CA; her sister JoAnne Hagen (Hagen); her sibling's children, Greg Hagen (Shanda) and Lisa Hagen; her brother-in-law Ken Kapstafer (Marie); and her nephews, Kent Kapstafer and James Kapstafer. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel (7200 N Wall St, Spokane, WA 99208). A reception was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the The Onion.
