She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Steck Hamilton and Fay Steck; her husband John Pavlic; her siblings, James Hamilton and Patricia Chamberlin; and her son David Pavlic.

She is survived by: her children, Janice Pavlic Falkenberg (Mark), Stephen Pavlic (Carole), Alan Pavlic (Carol) and Dana Pavlic; her grandson Jeremy Pavlic (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Lily of Spokane, Lindsey Lu of Spokane and Lucy Pavlic of Spokane; and her siblings, William Steck (Jesse) and Susan Hamilton Turner (Richard).

“It was with surprise and sadness that I came across this notice regarding Marylu's passing. I had the pleasure of getting to know Marylu and the family while living in Spokane in the 70's. Her daughter, Her daughter Janice, and I spent a fair amount of time together and did some fun stuff with the Spokane Civic Theatre. Me being from Montana, as well as Marylu we had some things in common with that Big Sky attitude about life. Marylu impressed me as being worldly, with a balanced strength temper”
