He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Cummins and Betty Cummins (Bundy); his brother Steve; his sister-in-law Christie (Chris); his nephew Jeffrey Cummins (Jeff); and his former wife Cheryll Erickson.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Benge (John) and Michael Cummins (Jennifer); his stepsons, David Layne and Kyler Layne (Sandy); his grandchildren, Brian and Arti Benge (Madisyn); and his stepchildren, Mercy, Ryklan, Caius Cummins, Caiden, Kloey and Kinsley Layne.
The military honors will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Riplinger Funeral Home (4305 N Division St, Spokane, WA 99207). A burial will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery (21702 W Espanola Rd, Medical Lake, WA 99022).
