He is survived by: his wife Catherine Winkler-Slagle; his former wife Karen Grimes; his daughters, Emily and Sarah (Randy); his grandson Ethan; and his siblings, Eric, Tom and Trish. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces.
