He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Donahue and Marjorie Donahue; his wife Dorothy "Janie" Donahue (Melville); his sister Mary Nelson; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Thies and Warren Thies.

He is survived by: his children, Tim Donahue of Spokane, WA, Patrick C. Donahue of Spokane, WA and Tracy Ferguson of Spokane, WA; his brother Jim Donahue (Judy) of Marietta, GA; and his brother-in-law Larry Nelson. He is also survived by Eight Grandchildren and three Great grandchildren.
