Robert leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Robert’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas C. Hirst and Roxana Hirst (Phinney); and his granddaughter Marie Annette Browne. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jeff Browne (Raylene), Myrna Albrecht (James) and Brian Browne (Heidi).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Veteran's Suicide Prevention in Robert's memory, and the memory of all who gave their lives, are appreciated.
