With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Wendell Kirkpatrick (Spokane, Washington), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Kirkpatrick and Faye Craig Kirkpatrick; and his siblings, Donald Kirkpatrick (Dee), Virgil "Jim" Kirkpatrick and Marilyn Kirkpatrick.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ostrem Kirkpatrick; his brother Charles "Tim" Kirkpatrick (Pat); his daughters, Monica Carr (Phil), Cynthia Tasaki (Chikara) and Marilee Bailey; the mother of his children Evelyn VanDonselaar; his stepchildren, Eric Fehr (Elin) and Jill; his grandchildren, Patrick Bailey, Bryanna Bailey, Marissa Bailey, Kayleen Archibald (Scott), Phillip Carr, Emily Thomas (Nicholas), Sarah Toombs (Silas), Benichiro Tasaki, Sayuri Tasaki, Amanda Fehr, Heidi Fehr, Lane Payette and Ruby Payette; and his sister-in-law Martha Kirkpatrick.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Emmanuel Presbyterian Church (1926 W Chelan Ave, Spokane, WA 99205). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Queen of Peace Cemetery (6910 S Ben Burr Rd, Spokane, WA 99223).
