“"He was lost, but now is found." I saw him 3 months ago. He had two drinks but was stone sober. He told me i was too good for the bar i was working at and that i was always genuine and kind, he could tell i really cared about everyone including himself and thanked me for being real to him. That was the conversation the last two times he had come in looking for Pat. He really seemed coherent but was looking for someone to listen. I wish i could have done more for him besides recognize his soul.”
