She was predeceased by : her parents, Russell McCreight and Ethel McCreight; and her sister Donna Petty. She is survived by : her husband Ron Garberg; her children, Renee Begovich (Marco) and Jeff Keck (Linda); and her grandchildren, Tony, Joey, Josh, Heidi, Tiffani, Brittany and Chris.

In Lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made in Sandie's name to the Shriners Hospital.
