She was predeceased by: her parents, William Beld and Jessie Beld (DeJong); her husband Gary Van Diest; her siblings, Johanna Broersma, Maurice Beld and Clarence Beld (Dixie); her sister-in-law Janet Beld; her grandson-in-law Nick Spoelstra; her son-in-law Eldon Heutink; her in-law Nellie Van Diest; and her sisters-in-law, Leota (Don Vander Molen), Judith (Harold Staal) and Marjorie (Art Jessup).
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Wagter (Duane), Richard Van Diest (Marki), Eileen Vreugdenhil (Cornie), Janelle MacDonald (Stu) and Pam Scobee (Randy); her siblings, Margaret Jacobs (Jerry), Leo Beld (Linda), Don Beld (Rikki), Carol Stremler (Lewis) and Virginia Stephan (Bill); and her in-laws, Irene Beld, Ruth VanHeukelom, Bernie Van Diest (Linda) and Alvin Van Diest (Cindy). She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
