He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Desmarais and Elizabeth Desmarais (Bouchey); and his siblings, Debra Beazley and Kerry Desmarais. He is survived by: his wife Linda Desmarais (Sowers) of Sagle Idaho; his daughter Lisa Dye of Sandpoint, Idaho; his grandchildren, Christian of Eugene, Codi of Sagle, Idaho, Alexis of San Diego, Annalyn and Kyleigh of Sandpoint, Idaho; his great grandchildren, Amyra Dye and Quentin Thorn; and his siblings, Gary of Connell, Donald of Mabton, Tim of Naches, Tom of Connell, Sharon Marriotti of Tacoma and Cindy Ross-Heydt of Florida.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kootenai Community Church (477 N Main St, Kootenai, ID 83840). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens (7800 Van Belle Rd, Sunnyside, WA 98944).
