With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gabriel Lepez (Sunnyside, Washington), who passed away on September 5, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vicente Lepez and Angela Mungia; and his siblings, Vicente and Clemencia Lepez. He is survived by: his wife Ana Maria Lepez Zepeda; and his children, Azael Pedroza of Grandview, WA, MariaElena Lepez of Pasco, WA, Diocelina Gomez of Sunnyside, WA, Gabriel Lepez Jr. of Escondido, CA, David Lepez of Chula Vista, CA, Maria Ortencia Guizar (Socorro Soberanes) of Kent, WA, Anna Alicia Alvarez of Kent, WA and Juan Lepez of Seattle, WA. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home (528 S 8th St, Sunnyside, WA 98944). A rosary was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (1201 Missouri St, Grandview, WA 98930). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens (7800 Van Belle Rd, Sunnyside, WA 98944).
