He is survived by: his wife Diana Cantu; his children, Esmeralda Cruz (Leonard), Sylvia Deford (Scott), Gregorio Cantu Jr. and Brian Cantu (Andie Manibog-Cantu); his grandchildren, Christine Williams (Will), Anthony Cantu (Kimberly), Kayla Deford, Kassy Cruz, Austin Cruz, Nathan Cantu, Sophia Cantu, Kindall Cantu and Justin Taylor Lakey; his great grandchildren, Emaliah, Jaxton, Maddox, Cali and Adreal; and his sister Janie Alaniz.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lower Valley Memorial Garden Cemetery (7800 Van Belle Rd, Sunnyside, WA 98944).
