He was predeceased by: his parents, Mauritz H. Colgren and Louise Colgren; his brothers, Lew Colgren (Estella) and Monte Colgren; and his sister-in-law Sandrea Colgren (Gary).
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Colgren; and his brother Gary Colgren. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
