He was predeceased by: his parents, Meredith Padgett and Kenneth Padgett; and his former wife June Lyon. He is survived by: his daughter Karen Merrill (John); his grandchildren, Korey (Catie), Kevin and Jenna; his brother Byron Padgett; his daughter Theresa "Terri" Gaston (John); his wife Jacque; Angela Engelhardt. He is also survived by 6 daughters, 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
