With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene S. Widick of Tacoma, Washington, born in Fort Benning, Georgia, who passed away on October 11, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Arlene departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Arlene may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Arlene leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her father Eugene Wheeler. She is survived by: her mother Jeanette Wheeler; her husband James; her children, Andy, Jeff, Randy, Chris and Cassie; and her brothers, Jim and Mark.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parkway Presbytarian Church (714 138 St E, Parkland, WA 98445). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tahoma National Cemetery (18600 SE 240th St, Kent, WA 98042).
