Arthur Lee Gilstrap, Jr., 66, took leave of this Earth on Oct. 19, 2020.
Arthur was born in Greenville, Texas on May 12, 1954 to Arthur Lee and Arthur Mae Gilstrap. He graduated from Greenville High School in 1973.
He lived in Tacoma, Washington with his wife of 21 years, Ursula Gilstrap. He was preceded in death by his parents. Arthur is survived by his daughter: Katherine Naomi Gilstrap of Irving, Texas and his grandson Jonathan McQueen, daughter: Stephanie Darlene Gilstrap of Atlanta, Georgia and his granddaughter Savannah Reynolds, daughter: Marylyn Deneise Gilstrap Abrego of Greenville, Texas, son-in-law, Manuel Abrego, Jr. and his grandchildren: Jeremiah Abrego, Lela Abrego and Christian Abrego, along with his son Daniel Jenkins of Los Angeles, California. His siblings: Clemmie Garrett (David), Sandra Gipson (Donzell), Lawanda Davis, Ramona Champion (Irving), George Gilstrap (Willette). He is loved by many including uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A private celebration of his life will be held in Tacoma, Washington. We are thankful for your prayers and please do not hesitate to reach out with comfort.
