She was predeceased by: her parents, John R. Voorhees and Audrey Van Voorhees. She is survived by: her husband Larry; her stepson Casey (Lauren); her stepgrandchildren, Boe and Bailey; her brother Rob (Cheryl); her sisters-in-law, Cathy Lowman (Leon) and Linda McCloskey (Ben); and her close friends, Donna Coy, Cyndy Chuta and Evelyn Robertson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, two aunts.
As Parkinson's stole her abilities, she was still able to sing—sometimes holding the hymnal on the wrong page, but singing the right words by heart.
