He is survived by: his daughter Cashauna M. Sanders (Leander) of Puyallup, WA; his grandchildren, Christopher J. Haynes and Kaylah M. Haynes of Puyallup, WA.; and his siblings, Barbara J. Lane of Tacoma, WA, Pierce B. Carter Jr. (Jackie) of Chester, VA, Robert Carter of Tacoma, WA and Samuel M. Carter of Tacoma, WA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
