She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl F. Tauch and Bernice Goodman Tauch; her brother Jack; her husband Robert A. O'Connell, MD; and her grandson Patrick O'Connell.
She is survived by: her children, Mark O'Connell (Tracy), Tim, Connell, Kathy Smith (Richard) and Ann Vaughn (Michael); her grandchildren, Meghan Blaya (Martin), Casey Balich (Daniel), Elisabeth Davidson (Bo), Thomas O'Connell (Jacqueline), Matthew McRory (Kyle), Kevin Smith, Alissa Talbot (David) and Robert Vaughn; and her great grandchildren, Jolie, Noelle Blaya, Jackson, Ava Balich, Emilia, Jacob Davidson, Bennie O'Connell and Scarlett Talbot.
