It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Wedde of Tacoma, Washington, who passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Michael's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Alice Lanphear; and his stepfather James Lanphear. He is survived by: his children, Shawna Leigh Logan (Bradley) and Rolan Michael Wedde (Sienna); his grandchildren, Denali, Kenai Wedde and Logan; and his former wife Beverly Shapley. He is also survived by three sisters and two brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Lutheran High School (7306 Waller Rd E, Tacoma, WA 98443).
