She is survived by: her daughters, Dr. Cheryl Barnett-Thompson (Jimmy Thompson) and Valerie Meade; her grandchildren, Carissa Smith-Meade (Alex Smith-Meade), Charla, Chazzy Barnett, Cherlyn Emery (Tyler Emery), Gregory, Monae, Laetitia and Morgan Thompson; her great grandchildren, Kaemani, Deontay Gomez, Clayton, Cayliyana, Chayzon Barnett, Monae Jr., Lorenza, Josiah Thompson, Jovanni, Aubrielle Emery, Elio and Lola Smith-Meade; her great great grandchild Legend; her nieces, Christine Harris and Dawn Anderson; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Taylor.
