Peter Matanane Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter Matanane of Tacoma, Washington, who passed away on February 20, 2026 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Aguon Matanane and Francisca Arriola Perez Matanane (Tamuning); his daughter Francine Aguon Matanane; and his siblings, Judith and Reymond.

He is survived by: his son Jeffery Alan Matanane; his sister Francine; his wife Barbara; his daughter-in-law Rosie; his grandsons, Jakob and Joshua; his son-in-law Poe; and his grandchildren-in-law, Tasia, Anthony and Xavier.
