Phyllis Arlene (Maltzahn) Abrahamson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Arlene (Maltzahn) Abrahamson of Tacoma, Washington, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 13, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maude Maltzahn and Frederick Maltzahn; her sister Rosemary Olson; her former husband Richard Abrahamson; and her daughter Linda Tvo.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis, Marla Schaefer (Scott), Cory Abrahamson (Jill McMullen) and Sandra Abrahamson; her grandchildren, Arienn Tvo (Ruben Macias), Scarlettah Schaefer (Ryan Stollar), Martinah Brown (Dan), Jessinah Simas (James), Donald Schaefer, Corrinah Yenor (Travis), Evan Abrahamson and Eric Abrahamson; her great grandchildren, Tarynn Abrahamson-Tvo, Theo Simas, Bennett Brown, Miles Yenor and Adalee Brown; and her brother Robert F. Maltzahn. She is also survived by his children and grandchildren; and her sister Rosemary's son and grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the New Tacoma Cemetery Chapel (9212 Chambers Creek Rd W, Tacoma, WA 98467).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to causes dear to her: family, faith, education, and nature.
