He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodney Rasmus and Elaine Rasmus (Flaat); his wife Fran of John's Lutheran Church; and his siblings, Rick Rasmus and Becky Rasmus.

He is survived by: his son Joshua Rasmus of Denver, CO; his uncles, Bob Rasmus (Claudia) of Edina, MN and Jim Rasmus (Martha) of Manitowoc, WI.; and his friend Forest Grove.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be given to Cascade PBS and Trinity Lutheran Church.
