She was predeceased by: her siblings, James DeShay, Emmanuel Jones (Ruth), Ora Harris (Jones), Ola Jones and Florence Hygh (DeShay); her former husband Jim Baker; and her great grandchild Lyncoln Brown.

She is survived by: her children, Leonardo (Traci) and Loretta (Washington); her goddaughter April Richmond (Brooks); her sisters, Lola Thorne (Monroe), Eloise Jones Baker and Joyce Jones; her sons, Jimmy Baker (Washington) and Wyatt Baker (Venice); her grandson Josh Catron (Chelsea); her children, Sara (Christian), Taler (Georgia), Caleb (Makaya) and Makenna (Idaho); her grandchildren, Trent (Thailand), Morgan (Virginia) and Aubrey (Tennessee); her son Kenneth (Mary); and her grandchildren, Kendra (Washington), Amanda (Brandon Brown), Luka, Leylah Brown, Calla Catron and Ayana Baker.
