He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. James Henry Dixon and Hattie Bryant Dixon; his siblings, Elizabeth Dixon Walker, Ruthye Dixon Kendrick, James Henry Dixon and Gordon Dixon; and his daughter Tina Dixon.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his son Whitney; his mother-in-law Gladys Wells; and his siblings-in-law, Phillip Wells (Rita), Kathleen Wells (Michael Schmid) and Linda Jones (James). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
